No, I don't think you can say the same about ANY vaccine.

My implied statement was that all vaccines are designed to boost one's immune system by introducing it to pathogens gradually, in order for the immune system to recognize that particular pathogen in the future and fight it using the body's own defenses.

Medicines like NyQuil lessen symptoms of colds and illnesses while the body's immune system revs up and fights that particular infection.

All those diseases you mentioned? NONE are 100% effective. NONE create some magic bubble around a person that prevents them from becoming infected. The effects of many vaccines are amplified when large populations receive them, making their efficaciousness seem perfect, but we do see outbreaks of a disease like measles in some communities that take the anti-vax approach.

So to my original statement, a vaccine is designed to stimulate the body's immune system to recognize and fight pathogens that cause certain diseases. You can still be infected, but your symptoms should be less severe (perhaps not even noticed by you), and you should have less chance of transmitting the disease to others.

Posts and statements like yours give FreeRepublic a bad name...you're the poster child for when liberals want to claim that "ignorant conservatives" are prolonging COVID.

How many millions of people have died in the past centuries of diseases like polio, tuberculosis, diphtheria and rubella? How many of them could've been saved if they were alive when those respective vaccines were introduced?

You've benefitted because a large population around you has been vaccinated. You're the beneficiary of herd immunity, yet you feel morally superior--believing that your clean living has kept you healthy all this time. Were it up to you, the average lifespan would be 30 years.

Suggest YOU do some research that doesn't include late-night infomercials and badly-formatted websites for dietary supplements.
