Then folks could post pokes at each other and then remove those pokes to appear innocent. “I didn’t say that”. The current forums that do allow editing also have an edit record the mods can see, so that they can see what was said and what was edited from the first posting.
Pokes and the ability to remove those pokes causes a lot of unneeded conflict if the program does not also have the Mod record to review and resolve the discrepancy.
Here’s a hint:
When you are looking at the preview and you see a typo, fix it right away and then go back and proofread the preview again. You do this again and again until it’s all fixed.
Trying to remember all the typos you want to fix so you can save time by fixing them in one trip is what causes them to appear carved in stone forever.
Exactly what I do. And I still miss one now and then.
I make the most typos when i’m at my most thytarded.
