If they are vaccinated, then why are they afraid to mingle amongst the whole population?

Are they tacitly admitting that they don't really trust the vaccine to work?

I’ve visited a number of churches in Arizona this last year. No masks required. Singing. Frequently NOT social distancing. And no outbreaks.

Hint: If you don’t have symptoms, you aren’t contagious. Even the WHO concluded (last summer) asymptomatic transmission was on the order of 0.5-1%.

“That’s Congress.

This is a state. “.....

Agreed. States have wide powers but states rights can’t trample the constitution.
It will need to go to SCOTUS.

It is a HIPA violation, that is FEDERAL law that covers this. If disallowed from a Public place, which is a bar, store, Walmart, or a Sports stadium that is a Civil Right violation. Think of black only bathrooms, water fountains or seating and vice versa.

Thank you for that. Also, HIPA laws prevent forcing the sharing of medical information. Add in that segregating the public IN A PUBLIC VENUE, which includes any business like bars, hotels, stores or even stadiums is a violation of CIVIL RIGHTS act of 1964 and likely more. Public businesses must allow ALL if they allow any.

These laws are, or will be, State public health laws, HIPAA does not apply to ANY exchanges of information permitted or required under public health law, and these laws have been consistently upheld for more than 200 years.

HIPAA has a very strong Public Health Exception, there is no violation of privacy when information disclosure is required by a sate law.

There are no Federal Constitutional issues here.

“There are no Federal Constitutional issues here.”

Conclusion - (last paragraph)
As Haas indicates: “As long as the natural rights of citizens are not violated, priority should be given to the common good so that the well-being of the largest number of citizens can be advanced as far as possible.

I don’t know...

There is no State law, it is a Governors mandate.

So an exchange of health information to a ticket taker at a ball game, or a Walmart greeter is lawful? I am thinking it is not, as whenever I am asked if I want a mask, I reply that I have a health issue that forbids it. Nobody has kept me out yet.

Per the WA state Constitution....

Article 3....SECTION 12 SPECIAL PRIVILEGES AND IMMUNITIES PROHIBITED. No law
shall be passed granting to any citizen, class of citizens, or corporation other than municipal, privileges or immunities which upon the
same terms shall not equally belong to all citizens, or corporations.

All I'm saying is that the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) has a loophole a mile wide (which I use almost every day) that says, "Protected Health Information (PHI) may be disclosed as required by law to serve the needs of public health".

Now, there's plenty of work for lawyers over whether or not something is a "law" (Governor's order). or whether a law cannot alter the constitution (worship).

But you and others seem to think HIPAA overrides the requirements of public health agencies acting pursuant to state law, but it doesn't, and it says so right in the law.

Comrades, Big Pharma Creates COVID Vaccination Wristbands To Help Speed Up Checkpoint Passage

May 7, 2021 | Sundance

Comrades, let it not be said the ministry of COVID compliance does not listen to the citizens.  After considering the bad optics of armbands, due to negative historic references, the government is allowing the private sector to create a modern method of compliance with vaccination protocols.

To enjoy your new freedom the COVID Ministry is working on QR Code wristbands to speed up the vaccination checkpoint scanning process.

The wristbands will be connected to a secure governmental database so you don’t have to worry about your travel habits being tracked, and the governmental contractors have promised they will not use the data to monitor citizens.  The government cares about you.

Your unique wristband may even come in a variety of colors so you can coordinate your outfits.

(CNN/Meredith) — New technology in the form of a wearable wristband could carry your COVID-19 vaccination card’s information and tell others around you that you’ve been fully vaccinated.

ImmunaBand is a blue silicone bracelet that has two purposes — first, it has a built-in QR code that carries your COVID-19 vaccination card’s information that can be used as a back-up for people who lose or misplace their CDC vaccination card. ImmunaBand’s second function is to show an outward display that a person has been fully vaccinated, thus making them safe to be near.

So how does it work? Wearers have to upload their vaccination cards for review before they can receive the band. The documentation is stored on a server compliant with medical privacy laws and the process is end-to-end encrypted, the company said in a news release.  The company makes two bands — one with just the QR code, and another with the QR code plus the wearer’s name and type of vaccine they received. The bands are both priced at $19.99. That code can be scanned with a smartphone to prove vaccination, the company said.  (read more)

Apparently a COVID vaccination card, a COVID vaccination passport, or a new COVID wristband are going to be needed as identification to enjoy the new freedom permitted by the state.  However, don’t even think about asking for election ID’s for voting…. because, well, that violates all kind of progressive needs.  Just sayin’.

“Wristband scan please”…
