I might get that tattooed on my right butt cheek.
The left butt cheek.
I look forward to reading more...
I tried watching one of those Marvel movies. What a cluster. I like dumb movies, sure. But it was terrible.
Peter Parker becomes Patricia Parker and kills Christian Bakers and gets married to Hulk.
That’s a What IF.
SPOILER: Peter Parker becomes Venom and kills bad guys.Technically speaking Parker doesn't become Venom. Originally Parker discards the living alien suit and someone else becomes Venom. That does not happen in this What If since Parker keeps the suit... everyone is calling him Spider-man (who has a new look).
Ha-ha! well done.
"a danger older than the Earth threatens everything. And for once, the heroes who have saved the planet time and again find themselves almost completely powerless in the face of it," continues the description. "X-Men and Avengers will assemble. Spider-people and the Fantastic Four will come together. Heroes for Hire will fight alongside Champions. But none of it will be enough. The lights are about to go out... forever."
You didn't guess that!
Amazing Spider-Man #74 goes on sale on September 22 and will feature a cover by Patrick Gleason seen here and likely many to-be-announced variant covers. Marvel is promising more news about the "next era" of Spider-Man next week, likely meaning the identity of the new writer and/or whole creative team.
As for the story being told in the new era of Amazing Spider-Man, it all revolves around Ben Reilly returning to the mantle of Spider-Man in the absence of Peter Parker. Peter's fate hasn't been revealed, but art included in Marvel's announcement seems to indicate that, as previously hinted, he'll be physically out of the picture. The included art shows Peter in a hospital bed in his tattered Spider-Man costume with Mary Jane watching over him - potentially implying he's either in a coma or worse, on his deathbed.
"This July, an all-out war between two of Spider-Man's greatest villains and their own Sinister Sextets erupts in SINISTER WAR!" reads Marvel's announcement of Sinister War. "Exploding out of Nick Spencer's pulse-pounding run on Amazing Spider-Man, this all-new series pits Doctor Octopus's Sinister Six against Vulture's Savage Six in a war that puts all of New York City in the crossfire."
What strikes fear into the hearts of those who terrorize Gotham? It used to be Batman, but something far more frightening than a mere man stalks the shadows—and it’s after Gotham’s villains. How savage must a monster be to haunt the dreams of monsters? Pick up this dark and bone-chilling tale by comics legends Garth Ennis and Liam Sharp to find out!
