I have in my collection an article that Christopher Hitchens (RIP) wrote regarding Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 911 movie in which he discusses “our sorry, mediocre, celeb-rotten culture.”

Kamala is very much this culture personified, and like Moore who threatened lawsuits against people who publicly criticized his pet project of that time, the media can never kowtow to her enough and anyone who steps out of line the slightest is liable to be seen as an enemy.
