More than 1 million people have died from COVID-19 in Latin America and the Caribbean as the pandemic worsens in the region, which now has the world’s highest per capita death rate.
Along with India, South America is the only area of the world where new infections are very much on the rise, Reuters reported Saturday.

Heard from friends in Colombia...getting very bad there.
Is there international aid going to these nations related to number if Covud cases and deaths?
and Joe’s Puppeteers spread them all over the US
Oh thats OK...
Joe is letting them bring it here...
What is the vaccination situation in that area?
All of South America, Central America and the Caribbean?
What is the total population of the countries that comprise all of that territory?
Without that info the figure “1 million deaths” is meaningless.
I thought Biden was gonna fix that.
Those poor people should all come here — we have plenty of masks!
And beside that, “1 million deaths” is BS propaganda.
The population of all South America is 442 million.

As far as I’m concerned COVID news is presumptively a lie becsue there is a political motivation with he Left and the media. It may very well be a problem in Latin America but there needs to be clear and convincing evidence of such IMO.
That is less than I thought it would be. At any rate, if SA had the same rate of "confirmed" deaths as the U.S. it would be about 809,000 deaths.
That still leaves Central America and the Caribbean.
Isn’t everything BS propaganda?
FReepers told me that it’s just the flu, bro
By appointment and mostly the Chinese vaccine. Russian vaccine is no longer used. American vaccines are preferred but rare.
Isn’t it winter there?
The numbers are probably bogus, just as they were here.
Argentina too.
