I just had to laugh at Cali law enforcement saying to criminals they have 24 hours. Purely because its Cali law enforcement, they are all laughing stocks, criminals there do not fear them at all.
Yeah....they must think it’s like the wild west......wanted dead or alive days. The new DA in Los Angeles, if it was his jurisdiction, would let em out by the weekend anyways. yeah...they are a joke and the bad guys laugh at em.......

I’m not giving legitimacy to anything. I’ve been the victim of road rage twice and know full well how there are some people, who are so internally hostile and out of control in their minds, that they would take your life from the smallest provocation.
You just have to ask yourself whether or not it is worth your life to flip off somebody who is willing to take your life.
This mother met such a person and now has a dead child. Was it worth it to her?

So true. I have read numerous stories about youngsters flying off the handle because they feel they are being disrespected. Even a warning honk can get someone killed. A lady was killed just because her husband accidentally started to pull into someone’s lane. So many people are looking to be a victim and they feel entitled to react to any perceived slight.

I remember someone being killed for shushing a black person at a movie. I think it was a Scorsese flick, so they probably should have known better.
Been noticing rude, aggressive drivers a lot lately and wondered just the other day what in the world is going on in this country? I remember as a kid my dad would drive 55 in the right lane. Many folks drove speed limit. Not anymore. Almost everybody is in a furious hurry to get whatever oh so important place they’re going.
There was a similar story about 20 years ago, also on a California freeway. That little boy also was shot and killed while sitting in the back seat, but both parents were in the car.
IDK if those killers were ever caught.
Avoid all disputes on the roads. You have no idea who the other party is, what they've just done or are capable of. It's a fools game.
They were if it’s the one I’m thinking off. Then a again, there have been shootings on all Southern CA freeways. It’s probably a monthly occurrence now. In fact, looking close at the freeways signs in LA, bullet holes can be seen in many of them.
If the killers had their cellphones turned on then they know where they were in proximity to the mothers car at the time of the shooting and by now that data will identify who was in the shooters car by their phones. Welcome to the modern world where your very move can be traced and you are not even aware, but the capability exists.

like she’s supposed to know which people will murder her after they pull crap on her and she makes an understandable gesture?
perhaps we just need a purge of society and pre-emptively deal with all the people that we believe will murder people for a hand gesture after they behave like dangerous jerks to them

FWIW, there has been well over a dozen expressway shootings in and around Atlanta in the last few months. This article lists 8 shootings with 5 dead but this is only one county which encompasses the eastern side of Atlanta. There have been at least a dozen more in other jurisdictions just like your nephew’s friend.
