I like William Shatner though he is remembering NASA from the 60’s. Today NASA is controlled by the deep state controlling fake sciences. Such as man made “climate change” and “modern” astronomy

Actually NASA is paving the way for an escape plan for mankind in case the Earth has an existential catastrophe. What do you think the 80.38 foot diameter Giant Magellan Telescope is going to be used for? Looking at babes bathing on Chili’s Los Espantajo beaches?

I don’t get the nod to ‘modern’ astronomy.

My answer ,, as to ‘Why NASA?’ is this:NASA is your grandfather’s rock band, in competition with all the other younger garage bands in the neighborhood. The younger ones have a few new things, and one of those bands has been more successful, in a shorter time, than your grandfather’s band.

But your grandfather’s band, unlike the younger band, all have solid retirement checks, so they can play longer than the younger bands, living off paychecks.

NASA to this day believes the Sun is a gaseous plasma with no lithosphere. The bases of this argument came from the belief that angles danced on the rim of the sun holding it together.
They've been creating lies ever since to hold that argument together. They're really good at it to. you should see how they dance around with their fuzzy math to this day. It's the bases of how light bends near a star. It's the foundation of the mass of stars, black holes and all kind of non sense most people believe.

Angles? Really? Isoceles, what?

Light does bend, due to gravity, and that’s been proven here on Earth.

Now, if you meant ‘angels’, then that is as crazy as the Sun circling the Earth!

The fence we walked between the years
Did balance us serene
It was a place half in the sky where
In the green of leaf and promising of peach
We'd reach our hands to touch and almost touch the sky
If we could reach and touch, we said,
'Twould teach us, not to, never to, be dead

We ached and almost touched that stuff;
Our reach was never quite enough.
If only we had taller been
And touched God's cuff, His hem,
We would not have to go with them
Who've gone before,
Who, short as us, stood as they could stand
And hoped by stretching tall that they might keep their land
Their home, their hearth, their flesh and soul.
But they, like us, were standing in a hole

Thomas, will a Race one day stand really tall
Across the Void, and all?
And, measured out with rocket fire,
At last put Adam's finger forth
As on the Sistine Ceiling,
And God's hand come down the other way
To measure man and find him Good
And Gift him with Forever's Day?
I work for that
Short man, Large dream
I send my rockets forth between my ears
Hoping an inch of Good is worth a pound of years
Aching to hear a voice cry back along the universal mall:
We've reached Alpha Centauri!

Did Shattner sing it to the tune of Mr. Tamborine Man? :)

Wow - your sense of humor is very dry. I almost thought you were being serious. You may want to use that /s thing to prevent others from considering you daft.

"Light does bend, due to gravity"
Yes. That is true. Did I say differently?

Question. Do you believe the sun is gaseous or do you believe it has a lithosphere?
Think carefully on the laws of thermodynamics before you answer. because if it's gaseous it brakes every single law.

yes angels which is nonsense and should've been treated as nonsense.

A little sarcasm points to the truth. The latest telescope technology will get a greater understanding of the exoplanets that exist in the habitable zone. Why would they want to investigate these planets—to find Earth 2.0? Earth 2.0 may be discovered by the new super telescopes. NASA is only one space agency in the world building them. I am sure there will be surprising discoveries pointing to a habitable planet. Suppose they find a way to transport humans faster than the speed of light. We have a billion years to find out a way. Then my “sarcasm” did point to the truth.

Don’t have to think. Watching solar eruptions return to the source is enough for me.
Otherwise, every single solar eruption would be broadcast into space.

Stars are formed, then ignited.
Otherwise, how could any star become central to a planetary system, oor part of a binary system. All gas, no guts, no way, jose.

I love it when thinking people like yourself destroy fake science that is the accepted science today.
Congratulations. You just became part of the fringe.
Which people that work on the Hadron Collider and at NASA would call anti-science.

Gaseous stars is the bases of many wrong paths with in Nuclear science and astronomy has taken. About binary stars. I'm still trying to figure out which are binary with Sol. They're not willingly telling us.

The sad part is. Astronomy isn't the only science that has been destroyed with twisted thinking.

Re binary with Sol, the one planet that is a ‘gas giant’, and has been noted from early in the 20th century, as a ‘failed star’, is Jupiter. Even Sagan posited on that term. So, we may have our binaral twin.

Now, for a ponderance for you:
There was, and still is, the idea of ‘another Earth, 180° opposite this one, with the exact ecliptic orbit, to not be seen from here.
Can you recall what name was given that planet? Hint: it is not this “Nibiru”.

Even "modern" science is claiming Jupiter has a lithosphere. They had to backtrack after the shoemaker comet. "Planet X" as a planet in our solar system is controlled opposition BS. You're a freeper you know how the rap-up smear works right?

I'm talking binary stars to Sol. Such as maybe Scholz's Star which passed through our solar system into our Oort cloud 70,000 years ago. There is a list of stars that will pass very close to Sol within the next 40,000 years all of them within 3 light years of Sol.

The one I'm most interested in is the star Sirius which was red by the god Sopdet +3000 years ago. Today Sirius is Blue meaning the star is heading toward us now.

When I mentioned ‘the other planet’, I was referring to a series of sci-fi books written in the 60’s - ‘70’s, with the planet Gor by name, with the main character named Tarl.

To me, ‘planet x’ = ‘nibiru’ = 0.

They are a fun read. Complete civilizations, geography, the works.

Oh, and yes, there are castes, more like royalty, merchants, swords, slaves, farmers. Whoever described it as ‘bdsm’, did not know their arse from their navel.

And ... there are ‘priest kings’, living very, very secluded lives, overseeing the whole show!

Tarl Talbot, much like ‘John of Mars’, has a ‘talisman’ that is employed, when he ‘is needed’ on Gor, (so sez ye priest king).

I said, its a many novel fun read.
