It amazes me that so many people in this country forget there is a 2nd amendment. What would the baseball bat wielding employee have done if the customer had stuck a gun in his face? I always try to be polite to everyone, because you never know who’s carrying.
In this case he was lucky he didn't get beaten with his own bat. The bat wielding Ace Hardware employee was rapidly disarmed by the customer who could have just grabbed the bat and started using it. He chose not to, but seemed a more capable fighter than the Ace Hardware employee.
I would hope that the Ace Hardware regional manager would arrange for some new staffing, and much better training for their store employees. Starting fights with customers is rarely a good idea.
