I think vaccines will cause COVID to go the way of Measles, Mumps, Smallpox, Polio, Chicken Pox,Tetanus, Hepatitis B (soon to be eliminated in the U.S.), Hepatitis A (soon to be eliminated in the U.S.), Rubella, Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib), Whooping Cough, Pneumococcal Disease, Haemophilus influenzae type b, and Diphtheria.

When Polio was an epidemic:

Kids in the Iron Lung. Polio would paralyze these kids lungs rendering them unable to breathe. These machines did the work of their muscles enabling them to breathe.
