Meh, no lie...in the old Corps we used to helocast from a C-130 ramp. 80 feet at 80 knots.

That’s nothin’. In the rotary wing Navy we did our water rescue jumps from 10 feet @ 10 kts. Called it going out to practice our 10/10s. of course we were wearing full survival gear... 😉
