Brilliant song. Doesn’t really belong to a single genre yet still “works” in terms of narrative and melody. What amazes me the most about the song is that it achieves the effect of a key change between the verse and the chorus without having a true key change.
Yeah, came out in the period of protest songs and anti-establishment songs - a song about a guy who goes to work!
