Dude, you’ve had a lucky escape from the coming cluster foxtrot.
Is there no statute of limitations on these things? This, being white, being male, and murder. Everything else is forgiven.
These purity tests are damaging a lot of people, many of them highly skilled and talented. Eventually the number of “defectives” will become the obvious majority, so what was said in the past usually will not matter except in extreme cases. But until that point is reached, more pillars will fall and need to rebuild their careers.
“Antony, Mark Ronson, Cornelius to Play in Yoko Ono’s Plastic Ono Band”
“And next month, she’ll do it again. On June 14, Yoko Ono and her Plastic Ono Band will make their first appearance ever in the UK, playing at London’s Royal Festival Hall. The show will be part of the annual Meltdown Festival, which this year is curated by the free-jazz legend Ornette Coleman. This incarnation of the Plastic Ono Band will include a random but great murderers’ row of musicians: vocal powerhouse Antony Hegarty, retro-soul production mastermind Mark Ronson, nepotism beneficiary (kidding) Sean Lennon, Japanese pop-art weirdo Cornelius (along with a couple of members of his band), and ex-Cibo Matto foil Yuka Honda. Yoko will be previewing music from her forthcoming album, Between My Head and the Sky, out this fall.”

In Japan revenge is a dish best served cold.
Waiting for 30 years..........that’s nothing.
The Japanese can wait for 70 years for revenge without batting an eye of impatience.
Hot revenge involves swords and knives and cutting off body parts, something the Japanese have mostly abandoned except for the Yakuza.
I bow to this guy’s Kung fu.
Have no idea what the complaint may be except that the composer and director pushed and prodded until the orchestra met his standards?
Aye, that's the rub.
Standards of excellence.
So now people are canceling themselves?
Just cancel it, already.
Some aspects of Japanese society seems to be schizophrenic, with one part extremely too overly apologetic and another side not apologetic at all when maybe they should be.
Can’t any Japanese say, with enough self respect - “that was then and I(we) am(are) sorry, but that is not me(us) now”?
