Auburn analyst leaves for NFL after Vikings assistant fired for refusing vaccine, report says

One of Bryan Harsin’s support staff members is leaving for the NFL.

Ben Steele, who joined Auburn’s staff as a special teams analyst during the spring, has left for a position on the Minnesota Vikings’ staff, according to a report by ESPN. Steele, 43, came to Auburn after spending last season as the Atlanta Falcons’ tight ends coach.

The sudden move for Steele came as the Vikings shook up their coaching staff Friday. According to the ESPN report, Minnesota fired offensive line coach/run game coordinator Rick Dennison after he refused to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Under NFL rules, all Tier 1 staffers -- including coaches, front office members, executives, equipment managers and scouts -- are required to get the vaccine.

After the Vikings parted ways with Dennison, who served in that role for each of the last two seasons, the franchise promoted assistant offensive line coach Phil Rauscher to be the team’s offensive line coach/run game coordinator, according to the report. The Vikings then tabbed Steele to fill Rauscher’s role as assistant offensive line coach.

Steele, a former NFL tight end who spent played from 2001-07, has spent each of the last eight seasons on an NFL coaching staff. Following his retirement as a player, Steele served as a graduate assistant at Colorado in 2010 before making his first foray onto an NFL staff in 2013 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He spent four seasons as a quality control assistant in Tampa Bay before being named the franchise’s tight ends coach from 2017-18. He joined the Falcons as an offensive assistant in 2019 and was promoted to tight ends coach ahead of the 2020 season.

Now, following a brief stint on Harsin’s inaugural staff at Auburn, Steele is headed back to the NFL. His departure leaves Auburn with just one special teams analyst on staff in former Boise State graduate assistant Tanner Tallan.

Almost like a scab, taking the place of someone who took a stand.

Wrong. The Feds have already come out and said a corporate mandate is legal. My company did it months ago. And every lawsuit thus far has found for the employer. It’s over

Fired for refusing the vaccine?

This is not a vaccine. The jab is an mRNA package in a nano lipid or fat envelope delivered to a cell. It’s a medical device designed to stimulate a cell into becoming a pathogen creator by creating the known to be harmful spike protein.

Vaccine is a defined term in law and under CDC and FDA standards. A vaccine has to stimulate an immunity in the person receiving it. And it must also disrupt transmission. That’s not what this is. Even the drug manufacturers admit the jab or its mRNA does not stop transmission.

The jab is a treatment, but if it’s discussed as a treatment it would not get the sympathetic ear of public health officials because people would ask what other treatments there are. And alternative treatments would hamper FDA’s ability to issue emergency approval of the jabs as a vaccine.

Defining the narrative with the term vaccine is a sucker punch to open and free discourse. “Vaccine” throws the discussion into one of pro/con vaccine. The jab is a mechanical device in the form of a very small packet of technology inserted intoe the human system to activate the cell to become a pathogenetic spike protein manufacturing site.

No basis exists to stipulate this is a vaccine. Simply put, this is a chemical pathogen device meant to unleash chemical pathogen production within a cell. It’s a medical device, not a drug. The jab is not a living or biologic system, but rather a physical technology that just happens to come in the size of a molecular package.

“Maybe since it is so widespread, it will void the liability. “It is generally considered safe.””

Funny that’s being said because I haven’t considered it “safe” from the very beginning. I think suspicions began to blossom the moment the media went mad concerning Trump’s statement on Hydroxychloroquine. Then you look at who is behind the vaccines and their motivations. You have billionaires like Bill Gates and others, the global warming nuts, who have several times stated how they’d like the population to be reduced. They’re the ones investing money to “save” people? Really? Yes, I know my tinfoil is on a bit tight. I saw a cartoon once. It’s this little king alone on his throne. He looks pensive and the thought bubble says, “Sure I’m paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?”

Rick Dennison should apply for the job at Auburn.

No college coaching experience, so the recruiting and such would be a pretty big jump. Plus none of his pro gigs were in SEC territory so maybe lacking connections there.
