He was a great musician. I watched their movie last year and it was really interesting listening to how they found each other and why their music worked so well. I would recommend it to any ZZ Top fan.

Sounds like he went the best possible for one to go:
Dusty Hill, the longtime bassist for rock band ZZ Top, died today in his sleep at home in Houston, Texas.

They had a replacement bassist the last few shows, I think Dusty’s last show was in Louisville on the 16th. Didn’t look well at all.
