3 min 24sec Tribute to ZZ TOP Bass Player Dusty Hill who passed away in his Houston home on July 28, 2021.
He was the perfect fit for Billy Gibbons and ZZ Top.
The band will be diminished without him.
But he was a mediocre bass player.
His bass parts may have been simple, but that doesn’t mean he was a “mediocre” player. He filled that space in a 3-piece just right and made very earthy, very good, and long-lasting music.
Long live that Little Ol’ Band from Texas
Again, he was perfect for ZZ Top.
My bad for comparing him to experts.
You play the hand your dealt and make the best of it.
Dusty also did great vocals.

No hay problemo. I don’t like experts. Give me some good old southern rock any day.
Better then most acts.
