If your profile is still accurate, consider a visit to New Orleans at some point. Maybe after Covid. It’s a great American experience. A little crazy at Mardi Gras time. You and I maybe too old to appreciate all the shenanigans at this point of life, such as the women trading boob views for beads and the drunken people stumbling around, but it’s something else. Lots of great food, music and culture and of course history. I haven’t been in maybe 10 years and even then it was just for work but I still enjoyed my time in the French Quarter. When in my early 20’s and single, Mardi Gras was something else.

I missed actually going to it as a 16 year old to march in the actual Mardi Gras parade with a CYO band back in 1974...I joined them a few weeks after they returned!

But yes, if I am down there at the right time, I will certainly make an attempt, thank you for the suggestion!
