simply not interested, that’s all

Yet you’re interested enough to post you’re not interested.

I first encountered the “loopy logic” of delirium while working with parents who had lost a young child to accidental death or suicide. Very intelligent professionals, Dr’s, attorneys, scientists who are normally very logical and grounded in reality would develop amnesia and loopy logic as a coping mechanism to deal with the tragedy.

They usually could function in their professional careers, but would have delusions relating to the loss. It’s an ego identity defense mechanism.

I’m seeing this same delusion in the “orange man bad” global alarmist liberals. Many of them are very intelligent, but not grounded in reality.

Why do any of us GAF if you’re interested in anything?

Evidently you need to inform us of your irrelevant feelings. If you don’t want to watch it, don’t. But if you didn’t even bother to watch it, your comments are worthless.

I was asked a question, and I answered it, that is all.
Evidently, you think I should GAF what you think...

Tulipmania may be another version of this.

Tulipmania: The story of a speculative bubble, which took place in the 17th century when Dutch investors purchased tulips, pushing their prices to unprecedented highs.
During Tulipmaina, the average price of a single flower exceeded the annual income of a skilled worker and cost more than some houses at that time. This ended in 1637.

Kind of like preaching to the choir here.

At first glance this may seem impressive, but when you consider that in 1637 the average price for a mud hut was 23 cents .. .

23 cents for a hut?
Wow. I guess every body starts from somewhere.
Back then, there was probably much more bartering of goods and services than there is now. A bushell of wheat for a block of churned butter.

A lot of accepted knowledge is based on folklore and legend, not fact. Maybe the Dutch never wore those wooden shoes that they were so famous for. Perhaps that was for ceremonial dress only.

Thank you. Excellent video. I listened to the audio and ignored the visual graphics.

It’s a good presentation, but a lot of us have understood that it is in fact mass delusion for a long, long time.

And dwelling on the massive evil doesn’t help us function.

So we ridicule the tyrant-fools, fill our minds with other things, and seek the parallel systems (our own society) that are actually described in the presentation.
