Not to mention Lake Bonneville which broke through its earthen dam at Red Rock Canyon SE of Pocatello, ID. Its remnants are now the Great Salt Lake.

There were glacially moderated floods in Alaska too. All of these occurred about 12-15,000 years ago when the ancient peoples were fooling around with primitive SUV’s...

The Mediterranean Sea flooded 12,800 years ago (not sure about the Black Sea) according to this paper, “The Flooding of the Mediterranean Basin at the Younger Dryas Boundary,” here: http://maajournal.com/Issues/2019/Vol19-1/7_Jaye%2019(1).pdf

According to its author, geology made a huge mistake when it concluded that there was never The Flood. Recognizing that there was a planet altering event and, quite importantly, that we are not adapted for its aftermath, sorta puts into perspective all the crap going on now - we’re reaching the end of necessary resources that allow for survival.
