I know many people have a gun, but not necessarily in Seattle. Additionally, I have learned that “bad people” seem to have an innate radar sense about who is the easy target and who is not. Very seldom do they go up against people that are not easy targets.

I was in a high end portion of Portland back 7 years ago.
Three blacks (who clearly didn’t live there) were harassing a retired couple.
They were all over 6’5.
I stood my ground, put my hand in my pocket and suggested they find something else to do.
I am 5’8 and 160lbs.
They all quickly backed down.
Maybe not the brightest thing for me to do but I hate bullies.
Yeah, well at least the victim didn’t have a gun. Someone could have been hurt!
