My experience is useful intelligence peaks at the Master’s level.
People with a PhD know one tiny subject very well, but don’t understand anything about the rest of the world.

Graduate school teaches one to be skeptical about scientific claims until sufficient, repeatable evidence is available. One does not simply follow the “consensus” any more than one develops a product solely through committee meetings.

A PhD is taught to look at data with a skeptical eye, not just in their chosen field of study.

It doesn’t take a PHD to read that all previous attempts (peer reviewed studies) to develop a coronavirus vaccine resulted in….ADE!

I dislike the term “vaccine hesitancy”, as if the default position is “gimme some of that”. Besides the fact that these shots are NOT vaccines! How about “Hell no to Covid shots-ency”?

PhDs have learned to teach themselves. They must do independent research and be able to defend it before others.

Interesting curve that speaks to the brainwashing of the higher education agenda.
High school, not as indoctrinated yet. To the upper level of PhD where they are finally intelligent enough to realize that it was all just indoctrination and then self adjust for that and think for themselves again.

The biggest spread is between those with a master’s degree and those with a Ph.D. That does not make any sense. Conclusion: This study is junk, like so many others.

"‘brainwashed’ Trump supporters who don’t want to take the vaccine"
Trump has consistently endorsed the vaccines and considers their rapid development one of his greatest achievements, so how does vaccine-hesitancy among some of his supporters square with the notion that "Trumpism" is a "cult" of brainwashed zombies?
