Once in Nevada I had a good view of a golden eagle attacking a fawn. A doe charged down the hill and chased the eagle away. The fawn left with its mother.

I had to literally fight a Golden Eagle that was trying to get my little Portuguese Podengo Medio, right in my back yard with 7 other big dogs standing there, like it didn’t give AF about them *or* me being there.

Those flying lizards can kill wolves.
Feckin thing beat me bloody, black and blue with its pinions and talons.

Good on the doe!

Golden eagles will hunt and kill wolves. They are fearless. Mongolians use them specifically for hunting wolves and deer and game, but they will sometimes turn on their handler too. It’s a wicked powerful bird
