Well, my experience is different but I go earlier in the day
and there are suppliers, workers stocking the shelves, etc.
Now there may not be a large supply out. Sunday evening I
can understand. Take care
Dang...guess I’m picking up chicken tomorrow while I’m hoarding up in toilet paper. And wine. Lot’sa wine.
I have been in a Wal Mart in Virginia within the last 3 weeks and made notice of the complete lack of pork and chicken. I don’t mean a few bare spots, I mean complete sections devoid of cellophane and styrofoam packages of every cut.
The price of beef is $18 a pound and a pack of 4 nice steaks at Costco is approaching $90.
None of this is normal and even though my household makes a good buck we will never be buying 4 steaks at those prices.
If the vaccines worked, why don’t they work.
Employees who are not vaccinated would pose no risk to their fellow vaccinated employees, if the vaccines worked.
If the vaccines don’t work, then mandating them is the definition of insanity.
They aren’t vaccines.
They don’t work.
According to the Atlanta fish wrapper, there is a shortage of pork ribs for local restaurants.
If they come for the McRib, it’s all over.
Many of these employers have probably been advised by their lawyers that the risk of doing nothing is greater than the risk of doing ANYTHING (even if it doesn't work).
“mandatory vaccines, but they’re not being imposed by the federal government, they’re being implemented by private companies and corporations as a ‘favor’ to the regime in exchange for not being further regulated”
this is the very definition of fascism and how it works ...
JimRob just lost a years support from me. Thanks BubbleGummer for saving me a few bucks.
It would be workers compensation. There is no jury.
There has not been a lot of chicken (wasn’t looking for anything else so can’t attest to availability of other meats). I walked he meat section for 10 minutes and finally found a small section w/chicken and it was only Tyson—nothing else. I was very surprised.
Ping!
Isn’t that who already makes up a good part of the crew?
Exactly—this is lawyer driven. The added bonus is that many attorneys are Democrats, as is the BAR, so they are likely pushing this in he direction that the party wants. Lawyers are behind much of how we live.
"The price of beef is $18 a pound and a pack of 4 nice steaks at Costco is approaching $90."
I believe WCI only covers medical costs and lost wages. An employer can still be sued separately for workers suffering permanent injuries or death on the job.
"The guys at the supply store said it’s a reefer truck shortage"
You know, what with Afghanistan falling, I can’t help but wonder if the COVID thing is going to fade into the background.
The situation over there is so bad and our people have been abandoned by the government, that I could see the MSM focusing on that and quietly dropping off reporting on COVID and keeping the hysteria going.
Time will tell......
Mail.
I think Beef Steak was $15 a pound in Soylent Green. We’re already past that.
