Why not let unvaccinated just work? Geesh!
Every chain in East TN and western NC is pimping 80/20 ground beef at $2.99/lb...from what I saw on Friday; there was PLENTY of be had...saw plenty of tri-tip and sirloin steak for $5.98 pound...chicken was available all over the place. Have you tried on Monday or Wednesday when the week's special kick in (at regular chains)...don't know about Wal-Mart, as I have NEVER shopped there.
“...like the proverbial frog in the frying pan.”
In the ideal past, an editor would have slapped him across the face for writing this.
The *boiled*, not fried, frog *metaphor* has existed since the late 19th Century.
This is why we buy a steer from a local farmer and have it custom processed. It was like 4.35/lb cut and wrapped and that’s from burger to rib eye.
I made no mention of date or any other location. I simply stated what I saw when I was there this afternoon.
Remember the illegal alien worker raids at Tyson a few years ago.
The Tyson mandate is likely due to the new OSHA mask regulation.
Great approach, but not available to those 99% of us precariat class. So it is an elitist solution.
We bought a brisket a couple weeks ago, cost about the same (brisket !!)
Since we're talking meat I'm going to throw a question out here. For the last couple months, every piece of pork we have gotten has the fowl smell of boar meat. Even bacon has that smell. I've had it in game meat before but never professionally processed pork. Has anyone else noticed it?
I prefer them poached, myself.
WARNING WILL ROBINSON!!! JOKE!!! JOKE!!! JOKE!!!
Not in California’
the kicker is the huge OSHA fine for PPE violations involving unvaxxed workers.

Lol, my husband is a mechanic and I homeschooled our 4 children and still don’t work outside the home even though they are grown and gone.
It requires disciplined saving for the lump sums required and it more than pays for itself in reduced grocery bills and high quality eating.
Precariat is a new word for me. Interesting.
“I was in two local WMT’s here in the SE this afternoon and both fresh meat sections were empty.”
Have been hearing reports of supply chain issues. It’s been stated they will worsen.
No idea how widespread or when they materialize. It sounds like trouble lies ahead.
I made a monthly trek to a store I hate, the at rhymes with Ball Fart. The shelves were 50% empty. Fishing gear, beer, socks, dog food. I have never seen anything like that before.
Forcing someone to take it as a condition of employment could lead to lawsiuts if there are complications or injuries due to the untested and not FDA approved vaccine
This afternoon = Sunday. As for location; I was just mentioning what I saw in MY southern area, not yours.
