Estimates are he received about $5B in tax credits. He personally wrote a $2.5B tax check in one year alone.
The return on investment for taxpayers re: Tesla has been excellent.
BTW: he never “received” anything, only tax credits - which are a reduction in taxes, which everyone should get. If we can’t get across the board tax cuts, take whatever deductions you can.
