I saw 57 some time ago...
I know many do not want to hear about how things were... from an old lady... but the wisdom is worth it..
The elderly have a lot of sense... that went by the wayside in the 60s.
What I think just angers the liberal woman... she is not as liberated as she thinks... And the youth have not lived long enough to know as much as they think.
Another thing in my bag... the femination of men....
It’s unbecoming and not good for the man...
This man I know, goes to church in NJ... Since the masks, things in the churches are not the same.. but surely that does not have anything to do with my comment.
The church is a small one.. and the pastor came up with the idea for the men to get in touch with their feelings! That pretty much was a mistake... big mistake...
This man had a talk with the pastor and subsequently left that church. The church today has done a lot of error and think they are tolerant... tolerance we do not need in the church.
Let the men be men and do not tolerate such foolishness as today’s fads... they are not cool!!!
I tried to resist this thread but like Eve and the serpent....well...
I think white women while more emotive than men and less culture war aware do not vary too much from men.....less than five points in national elections and until a generation or two ago they aped men’s voting
Minority women vote heavily leftist.....for stuff...
There is also the divide between older and younger White women the latter being much more leftist....scary how they have turned just in 15 years...

Mom
Grandmas and aunts
Extended family
Wives and lovers
Friends who are women
100s maybe a 1000 in my life....women I’ve known
The wives and lovers occupy a special spot simply for shared experience and intimacy...nothing in life really supplants that....love is indeed the drug
Women friends it’s a bit different but still I have been close to some I didn’t sleep with
My mother....Scarlett O’Hara....just as southern and pretty...difficult but I loved her
Grandmas were best women I ever knew....especially the maternal one
Aunts including one lesbian aunt....I’m still very very close to...she’s mid 80s now....she is a trump militant btw and thinks her sex life is a private matter
Now this is where it gets sticky
Women..God love em....just create more tension and stress in a group...
No question of that...
All the Major crisis I’ve dealt with in family extended or otherwise has been ginned up by the machinations of girls ....no question
They just can’t help it.
Women have very tight orbits of self awareness...not to be confused with selfish
Then there is how women fight....they don’t ....they quarrel
Women are cruel as hell to each other
Women in the work place...well I’m glad I don’t deal with what my wife has had to
Women often say no impulsively because they hate change....they seem secure in the static
When I look around me.....and talk with women they usually are not quite as solid on culture issues as men....doesn’t mean they are libs
These are just observations but it comes down to this
We live in a false construct of a safe reality previously unknown to civilization
Women have choices now they simply couldn’t afford before if they wished to stay alive
They depended on men to protect and care for them or they were in a struggle
It’s been that way since hunter gatherer and still is in places
It wasn’t because of patriarchy or men are mean .
It was the natural order and biblical instruction guided that.
It was not evil or bad...
Now the serpent has truly had his day...
Women are unbridled to be any indulgence...
I confess. I’m not impressed.
Feminism is a result of this new security women inherit upon birth previously unknown
It allows their dark urges excusing that it’s empowering
There are no longer marauders on the path to destroy all precious to a woman...her man and children and rape and enslave her and her girls
At least not in the developed world
So women can indulge themselves with notions they are victims in this new world in which they seek preference from the slings and arrows endured from when men cared for them
All this will fail eventually...but young men don’t know what to do
Few decent young women around....I’m living this as a dad with a slew of kids making this passage

I miss how women used to be

I’m not the guy I was 40 years ago, but I’m still over 6 foot, have all my hair, and am a respected and well paid professional.
I could get somebody younger, but not interested in most womem these days
I don’t suppose any of you remember the antics of jane fonda... she was rebellious and in your face so.
That sort of thing got worse with the women who had nothing important to do.. at least that’s how I saw it.

Women in their mid twenties are the Black Plague. Women who are between 40 and 50 have their shit together if they’re also not willing to present themselves like Sicilian widows. I live in Oklahoma City though. Everything sucks here

You’re missing something about younger women—Gen Z, from late teens through 40. It’s not an evolutionary thing, but they’ve been conditioned by 3rd wave feminism to despise men. Hating them is a virtue; they admit it openly. Conservatives/Republicans are seen as purely patriarchal and mostly white, so the hate is extended to them, too.

Subjectively and on an anecdotal level I too have noticed that phenomenon. I suppose I just put on my rose colored glasses and kept hoping that it was just my imagination. Sad..

I lost my husband a few years ago... he was not perfect... and I had my times when I was fed up for a day or so... but oh to have him back with me. To lay down beside him... to see him when I come home... to have him do all the bills again.. to say good night again.. to see his smile again...
to make sure he knows he was worth all the problems we had from time to time...
life is too short when it comes to the end of youth and we look back at it all....
