Nobody is perfect.
The wisest words I heard about marriage is that when you are tempted to complain about the fact that you did not marry the perfect man, remember, he did not marry the perfect woman.
And that goes two ways contrary to what some on FR seem to think.
I’m sorry for your loss. May God bring you comfort and peace.
Wow. What an solid argument.
Thanks. I have no doubt God is in agreement.
Eve had a perfect environment when she decided to screw things up. But you feminists think if somehow Adam was a better dude, she wouldn’t have screwed up.
You really are pushing a bullshiite copout perspective. STOP IT.
Barbaric? You want to hear the worst part? It’s overproof Navy rum, 107 proof and dark as blackstrap molasses. I usually have two 1.5 litre bottles on hand but have been know to run out. Then I substitute Mattel’s Cognac.
My laptop is informing me of an imminent raid disk drive failure so it may be difficult for me to respond to anyone in particular or even read all the recent responses.
Anyway another argument I often hear from women whenever they are logically cornered is “you are not a woman, so you can never in stand.”
That is the full argument and it is usually accompanied by an air of finality, eg stomping away in a huff without giving me a chance to respond. (If blame is being assigned, it is sometimes used interchangeably with “well, you just should have KNOWN.”
(These people are idiots. I don’t care what gender they identify as.)
Anyways the prevalence of such arguments makes me believe that the only way out of this dilemma (apart from 19A repeal, civil war or invasion) is for logical women to beat down the illogical women amongst them, because it is apparent to me that the illogical women have beans in their ears and are beyond the realm of intelligent dispassionate discourse with men.
I recently received a social media alert that a female millennial friend lost her day job. “Oh well, I will just have to get another.” This girl is an 8 on the 10 scale but she is English challenged. Imho day jobs do not grow on trees, and some areas of the country have a fearsome reputation for having a high cost of living. Two career jobs and a big nest egg are needed to buy a house and most offerings are condominiums.
So Part of the problem is that women leverage their good looks. To keep them minimally solvent while they attend Ted seminars and startup group mixers. Live in a shared two br apartment with a bf or a BFF. This might be ok for a year or two out college, but it does not build impressive resumes, references, or allow equity build up.
After age 30, looks are no longer an entree for women to a day job outside of retail sales or hair and nail salons. There is no such thing as an older hipster, just boring people who clung to their day jobs no matter what, people who moved to the boonies and likely work retail sales etc, or living off welfare in a homeless camp. Ok you can get married to a lawyer if you are really hot but then how long before he moves on to the next young receptionist and besides you can’t really lay claim to being a liberated feminist once you fall for the marriage trap. There is sex work but again it is based on looks and not viable as a long term occupation.
The older feminist women end up being bitter against men maybe for judging them on their looks but really men judge them on their common sense. Cruising through life on good looks until it is too late to get into a real day job or a committed relationship is not common sense. But it is common. Career women are resentful of being pre judged as having used their charm to move up the management ladder but there are many women who do just that and they are poison in the workplace putting hardworking honest employees at risk of receiving blame for the inevitable screw ups.
In my next lifetime I resolve to get more girlfriends. I will do this by getting a law degree while working as a drummer in a rock band. With this plan I will have no problems finding women so long as I avoid commitment. If there is a better plan I would be happy to learn of it. Oh ya, and convert to Islam.
Ditto and I’m also a woman.
And tatoos
“Eve had a perfect environment when she decided to screw things up. But you feminists think if somehow Adam was a better dude, she wouldn’t have screwed up.

Lol, why are you so upset that I didn’t push all of the blame onto Eve? Criticism of a man doesn’t make me a feminist. They share the blame.
You push a feminist agenda and a copout perspective, then expect to have your feet held to the fire.
Can you explain how and why recognizing Adam’s part of the blame is “feminist”?
Can you explain how and why claiming that if men were better then women wouldn’t be so... rebellious? Especially since Eve had a perfect environment and a mate designed by God Himself? You’re pushing a copout perspective so stop that bullshiite.
“Can you explain how and why claiming that if men were better then women wouldn’t be so... rebellious? Especially since Eve had a perfect environment and a mate designed by God Himself? You’re pushing a copout perspective so stop that bullshiite.”
Well, since I’m not taking instruction from you, I’m afraid not. Your question is a bit garbled so I had to re-read it, but firstly, you’re attributing to me something I didn’t say. Secondly, Adam also had that perfect environment and a God-designed mate, correct?
I’ll answer your question when you’ve answered mine. What is feminist about recognizing Adam’s culpability?
Kevmo: “Can you explain how and why claiming that if men were better then women wouldn’t be so... rebellious? Especially since Eve had a perfect environment and a mate designed by God Himself? You’re pushing a copout perspective so stop that bullshiite.”
Ava: Well, since I’m not taking instruction from you,
***Then I shan’t be taking any instruction from you.
I’m afraid not. Your question is a bit garbled so I had to re-read it,
***You jumped in right at the point in the thread where you decided to ally with the luzing side in the argument, so read the thread back to the inception. I know, I know, you won’t.
but firstly, you’re attributing to me something I didn’t say.
***You’re backing up someone who DID say it.
Secondly, Adam also had that perfect environment and a God-designed mate, correct?
***And yet, his mate went off the reservation but you feminists seem to think that if we men were somehow BETTER than that, you wouldn’t be tempted to go off the path. You’re pushing a bullshiite copout agenda and you should simply stop it.
I’ll answer your question when you’ve answered mine.
***NO. You’re inserting yourself into an argument where your cohort wouldn’t answer the questions so kiss off, feminazi. You answer FIRST, since the questions were put out before you ever came on board.
What is feminist about recognizing Adam’s culpability?
***When are you feminists going to give up this bullshiite copout position of swaying blame to Adam? Hopefully soon, but I have zero confidence.
Lol, okay then. Try a dark room and a blanket and maybe you’ll feel calmer.
Try reading your bible more, maybe the message will sink in.
My husband and I read regularly. Thanks, though! Hope you’re feeling better.
