I am going to file HR complaints. I am going to seek medical exemptions. I will make them fire me, then I will sue them for refusing my exemption and not making allowances for my medical condition under ADA. There's an outside chance I might actually retire early from that because I won't simply go after lost wages and legal fees, I'll go after punitive damages too. It takes many tens of millions to make a company this size feel the sting so in order to be truly punitive it'll probably have to be 9 figures.

While this is going on, as a backup plan I am already exploring other alternatives for employment.

As a backup backup plan... I am currently struggling with doing what is right - resisting this tyranny knowing it is only a stepping stone to even worse things to come - vs my responsibility as a man, husband, father to provide for my family. I haven't figured that one out just yet.

If I was in a position where I was working for a company that required a vaccine and I really needed the job, I would have no qualms about coming down with all kinds of mental/emotional issues and pursuing a permanent disability claim.

Do what your conscience decides is best and don’t let anyone make you feel like you made the wrong choice, whichever it is. That decision, too, is only yours.

Well, have fun being fired and then bankrupted when you lose your legal battle
