Biden is an idiot. There are very few things protecting Americans from his vaccine tyranny. Some red state governors, some GOP senators, and some courts are protecting us. That is it. The GOP house of representative members are powerless.
These politicians have way to much power over us and much of this power comes from people being filled with fear. The private sector is being pushed aggressively to act a certain way, in the same way a local business could be convinced to act a certain way by the mafia. People have been, and will be, losing their jobs because the private sector listens to its government overlords.
I will never get this vaccine. I like to think Biden’s executive order won’t effect me. But if it does, I will lose my job. I will resist because I don’t want the needle and because I don’t believe government should have this power. America promises liberty, not this junk. This is a 1930s Germany inflection point occurring in the 2020s USA…it must be resisted.

I work remotely in South Dakota for a company that over 2000 employees.
If forced I will test weekly, but what the hell? I work in my home, not at a company with other employees.

If we follow the science there is no logical or scientific reason why the unvaccinated need to get tested while the vaccinated don’t other than for coercive reasons. It has been well documented that vaccinated individuals can get infected and can pass on the virus just as easily as unvaccinated persons and even more so than the naturally immune/recovered.

in hindsight, it becomes obvious that vaccines for this one particular strain was the wrong way to go; in actuality, this should have been evident from the get go by the problems with the annual flu vaccine roulette...the minute an effective vaccine is produced a permutation of the targeted virus renders the vax no more useful thab a coin toss...
the lessons of the yearly flu vaccine should have taught us that instead of a hasty single vaccine a concentrated study of the various mutations should have yielded a panoply of vaccines targeting variants; also, it should teach us that the best single thing to do is isolate the most affected cohorts and employ therapeutic measures to lessen bad outcomes...that therapies for the ill were ignored in favor of useless measure against the healthy will remain one of the most mind boggling anomalies of this fiasco...

The GOP has super-majorities in BOTH house of the Kentucky Legistature... it’s FINALLY starting to have an impact.
Last year, they stripped our Democrat bleeding heart, fraudulently elected Governor of his dictatorial shutdown powers. It went to the courts. Took 9 months to get a ruling, but... the Legislature won.
A couple of weeks ago, our Governor tried it again: Announced a forced mask mandate in ALL schools, public and private. The Legislature got busy and passed a law letting local school boards decide for themselves. Then, they quickly over-ruled his veto!
FINALLY, they are taking control away from this crying tyrant.
You are pointing out hypocrisy. The problem with that is that hypocrisy is a minor issue relative to the tyranny of removing the freedoms of Americans. If you remove the hypocrisy, say be vaccinating illegals, then the evil still stands. The right thing is to remove the Covid tyranny from everywhere, not by adding it to the border.
