He’s no Bonzo...so who cares? Well Robert Plant sure thought a lot of Phil Collins, he drummed on Plant's first solo album and tour.

This saddens me. I saw genesis for their Invisible touch tour in ‘86 in Miami. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen. That guy could drum (and I’m not a big genesis fan.)
Was always a bigger Peter Gabriel fan, and i didn’t care for Phil’s solo work... but this is very sad.

The Rolling Stones and their “Steel Wheelchair” tour upcoming.

The album is “Invisible Touch” and is easily their best, IMHO.
I’ve had it since it’s original release in 1986.
Every song is a keeper, even the one that’s over 10 minutes long.
Don’t hesitate, get it.

This is injury more than age. Charlie Watts from the Rolling Stones passed at 80 years old.
I've seen some old jazz drummers that played well; I suspect they didn't have crazy lifestyles and their drum method, while outstanding, was pretty simplistic. It helps that they didn't spend decades pounding away trying to project volume to a stadium.
Conversely, the bongo drummers end up with hematuria (blood in their urine) from "percussion hemoglobinuria".

Phil claims he isn’t political and has voted only once in his life. Are you confusing him with Phil Collins the Labor Party official? Or maybe Phil Collins the writer, who is definitely very left wing.

John Lennon was once asked if Ringo was the worlds best drummer. Snide Lennon replied, “He’s not even The Beatles best drummer”.

Led Zeppelin never toured together after Jonh Bonhams death.
Who ever Robert Plant had as a drummer is irrelevant.
Yes, LZ did a revival tour, but it was with Jason Bonham and not Phil Collins.
