Military doesn’t take an oath to support president. It’s to support and defend the Constitution. This seems like a lie created to install another lie.

No, but they are supposed to follow the chain of command, which ends with the President. Milley is a staff guy who is not in the chain of command.

Yes, but if individual military officers are being told to promise fealty to another officer, who evidently considers himself not subordinate to civilian authority, that is already a violation of the Constitution.

This is very serious stuff.

What was he planning on doing with his sworn cadre? And it appears that much of this plot was at the behest of Nancy Pelosi.
