Mask on, mask off.
The 2021 Emmy Awards were full of colorful ensembles, moving speeches and coveted gold statuettes — but no masks in sight.
While 2020’s coronavirus had awards shows very scaled down, the party only got bigger this year. Many viewers and fans on social media, Twitter and beyond certainly had something to say about the celebs sitting in close proximity to one another during the telecast.
Because as recent surges show, COVID-19 is still a thing.
Emmy host Cedric the Entertainer even joked about the virus in his opening monologue. “We had to vaxx to come here,” he said, noting the show’s precautions. “I got vaxxed. I did not have a reaction like Nicki Minaj’s cousin’s friend. I got Pfizer because I’m bougie. Pfizer, that’s the Neiman Marcus of vaccines, Moderna, that’s Macy’s. Johnson & Johnson, that’s TJ Maxx.”
Seth Rogen, the evening’s first presenter, also joked about the pandemic. “I went from wiping my groceries to having Paul Bettany sneeze in my face,” Rogen said.
Cue the Twitter reactions. “Me: why are the emmys in such a small room without masks and no ventilation during a pandemic (30 seconds later) seth rogen: why are we in such a small room without masks and no ventilation during a pandemic,” one confused fan wrote.

Twitter is the mob having internet lynchings. Though it couldn’t happen to a more deserving group.
And Dr. Fauci is a member of the elite. So as everyone knows, he is exempt from his own rules.
Omg, I’m thrilled they are stuffed into a tent not wearing masks. We need to all live normally. Be done with this pandemic crap.
If you’re at risk stay home. If you want to wear masks, wear masks. Let us do what we want.

COVID-19 is not as deadly as Smallpox. Or the Spanish flu 100 years ago. This disease is not taking out the young but it goes after the elderly and the vulnerable.
The left have managed in less than 2 years to recreate society with two tiers and of course the celebrities will be overlords and obey no rules or Laws! They also claim to allow religious exemptions but don’t really. Democrats only respect religion if it is their own worship of Big Government(TM) or Islam. Christians and those who can spot the left’s fake ‘science’ are fast becoming second class citizens. The left’s real religion is power and money. They could care less about you.

The problem though is that the hired help for the event was still masked while celebrities were not. I’m going to guess you did not know that.

I can understand getting upset at someone trying to force you to wear a mask. I think it should be your choice. I also have nothing against someone that chooses to wear one.
Hold it there. With a mask you can gather intelligence on RATs snd theyll think you are complying while in reality you are plotting thdir demises.
There is a special place in hell for the idiot who walks into a restaurant, puts on a mask to walk to their table, and takes it off. These same morons frequently put it back in to go to the bathroom.
Cloth masks are as worthless as the people who wear them.
