Brian Laundrie’s parents are not likely to face criminal charges in connection with Gabby Petito’s disappearance and suspected death, law-enforcement experts told The Post on Monday, citing the difficulty in building any potential case against them.
Christopher and Roberta Laundrie have kept mum since Petito was reported missing Sept. 11, even barring cops from speaking to their lawyered-up son, who has since vanished himself.
The sensational case took a tragic turn Sunday when a body “consistent” with Petito’s description was found at Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming.

That body must have been pretty decimated.
If they helped him run before cops tried to arrest him, bring charges, etc., I don’t see what law they broke.

Funny that you ask that... It’s a very relevant question. Little girls go missing Every day... 10 yrs olds... 12 yr olds... All over the country and nobody seems to care. They’re just a statistic. What makes this girl so special that we initiate a global manhunt for her and her killer.
Well there was that whole 911 call with them slapping each other around. And the girls parents reported her missing after the boy came home without her. And then his parents shipped him off to Antarctica to hide out while she was being eaten by bears.
But other than that...
Idiots chanting in a driveway is neither a trial nor a conviction. It's just idiots chanting in a driveway, and any such idiots would be stricken from a jury for cause.
It is entirely possible that some of those idiots also were people who actually knew her, and are pissed that she was missing and that her fiance is doing nothing to help locate her.
If it is confirmed to be her body, I imagine the idiots will disperse in fairly short order.

We know all that. So what do you expect us to do? We can’t vote our way out of Americas destruction. So we choose a momentary diversion, a mystery, that doesn’t affect us so personally.

If I was innocent I’d get the heck out of the country as fast as possible. The US criminal justice system is an amoral and relentless machine, especially when a case becomes high profile.
The Gabby Petito case is a distraction the media are using to keep the public’s eyes off of the 15,000 Haitians at the border - that the feds are quietly releasing into the country.
Not that this isn’t an important case, it is, but it has been headline news 24/7 for at least a week where as the “crises at the border” is off of the front pages (along with other things the treacherous Biden admin is doing).
For me, the thing I find most fascinating about this story is not her disappearance or even his. What I find so fascinating is the proclamations all over the internet - and even here - of what scum he and his parents are. And all based only on what people are seeing and reading in the ridiculously unreliable press.
If it wasn’t so serious it would be high comedy.
I am hearing a lot about these New York invaders lately (we have them in California too, some say so many that’s how the state initially started to turn blue).
I was visiting family in Florida recently - the car rental place at the airport tried to give me a car with New York license plates - I refused to take it and insisted on a car with Florida plates.
Of course they helped him run.
But he his not a “suspect” yet.
Police might be able to indict the parents
for lying to law enforcement.

I haven’t been following this case that closely, but did the boyfriend Brian return to work after the trip where Gabby went missing? Surprised he went “hiking” after returning from their cross country hike, and was able to “go missing” with this being as big of a story as it is. Did Brian live in Florida with the parents or is he living in NY?

I’ve been wanting to know now for a long time, how do all these illegals or refugees start living life in America when they just get dropped off at a street corner randomly spread across the US? Do they stay at some sort of facility for weeks, months or years? Do they assimilate (rhetorical)? Are taxpayers paying for them to live here? Do they ever contribute to society? Do we ever hear even fake puff pieces on how they have made something with their lives? There have to be millions of even just refugees that have been coming here since Obama, and i have yet to hear anything about the Syrian refugees. Where are they now?
How many girls have you seen with "let it be" tattooed on right arm and the other tattoos she had as well? They know, they just want to do the DNA etc. I suppose it is possible that none of that remained, but I highly doubt that.
