I saw a video from a young scholar where he was able to show that Jewish scholars added 30 years to each of the Patriarchs when they had children, because they objected to Jesus being the Christ. When you correct for those thirty years of the Patriarchs, the Egyptian timeline and the Bible time lines aligns.
I wish I could find that video. It was very convincing to me.

I dimly remember some TV show from my youth where a scholar showed that one of those two timelines was out of whack, with archeological evidence to support his claim.
