I believe the Jewish Bible as extant in Hebrew is the divine word of G-d, and unless learned in Hebrew you miss the point....(and OBTW there is no authoratative Septuagent beyond the Five Books of Moses. And I bet none of you can find the “error” (as if G-d made mistakes) in the first two words of the Bible in Hebrew...Gen 1:1...

This is a true statement. Man wants so badly to be his own Elohim. Make his own rules. We see history littered with men like this and the millions they have killed because of what they deemed was “right”. We have to have an authority outside of mankind giving the law.
El Shaddai handled it with 4 words. “Thy shalt not kill” (take an innocent life, as I understand it in Hebrew). He is excellent in all His laws.
P.S. Go easy... I’m a Libertarian, except on Thursday when I am a livertarian. :-)
