Let us know how your sale goes!
If I don’t sell a single mitten, it will still be fun ... cool fall morning, cup of coffee, talking to people as they come by the table ...... the drive to the country church will be pleasant as well.
The mittens .... I sold 8 pairs. I was glad to sell just 1 pair, so 8 was pretty good. The sale was fairly 'low traffic' - the folks next to me, with more yard/craft sale experience, said the pace of traffic was 'tedious'.
I'm happy with the result AND best of all, I got to talk to some interesting people, which was sort of my goal anyway - to have a good excuse to get out/about. I took our 21 year old pickup which was great for hauling tables ... and it ran just fine (yay!) which was a fairly big deal. The church where the sale was held is in the country and I was driving into the sunrise .... felt like the good old days when I was driving early to horse shows; however, I enjoyed not having to be in the barn at 2 am braiding manes!
So, still have plenty of mittens ... will keep my eye out for another sale. :-)
