It sounds like fake news. I believe something like that could only warrant non-judicial punishment with no arrest.
Depends of his chain of command. If they want to be dicks, they can do a Summary Court Martial or a Special Court Martial. In this administration, I think “dicks” may be the majority.

I think many station owners are upset very much and may put the stickers on all of their pumps.
I used Avery labels on gas pumps with Obama smiling about high gas prices. I used a gas station near the local University. They had a hard time scamping them off.
I had it in my hand and acted like I was casually leaning on the pump while gassing up.
LOL, can just see that. I do all kinds of things to act casual and actually I’m to the point where I don’t care. There are so many people doing it that they are going to have to hire a special task force to investigate.

I made my own with Avery labels, very easy. But my last batch, I went with
“F” JOE BIDEN!
“Be ready for a vandalism charge”.
Make your stickers on Avery labels. Then stick the Averys on Post-It notes. They’re easily removed with no permanent damage.
I’ve done some “Miss me yet?” Trump pics in the meat bin at Walmart.

Only caveat: 3M is going along with the vaxx mandate. Might want to buy generic post-it notes instead of 3M’s.

A loved one who had dementia turned me on to Post It notes. They really helped her cope early on in her diagnosis.
I started using them, and loved the Super Sticky ones because some items stayed up a while before I dealt with whatever was on it.
The regular ones fell off too easily.
But I won’t buy them again. Or any other 3M product.
Not after what they just did to their employees.
