Totally unnecessary. Just make people show their ID when they vote in person at their ONE voting location, check it against voter registration, make sure they haven’t voted already, and witness them going into the booth on Election Day.

I agree with this.

There is no reason to re-invent the wheel when it comes to running elections. We already know what works.

* Voting only on election day.

* Voters must provide ID.

* Paper ballots only.

* Hand counting only, no machines.

* The counting of votes must be done by a group of people - not just an R and a D, but probably four or five people.

This last one is probably the most important. Because as a famous person once said, it's all about who counts the votes.

Well we could require going back to the horse & buggy days but that
isn't a solution in today's vastly technological world. Things can be
made secure if only the effort is put into the process of doing so. A
few years in the jail system for those that break the rules would be
a good beginning.
