exactly. The only thing government can effectively accomplish is raising taxes and wasteful spending.

You get it for free but the quality sucks. You have no say in how it works. The guy who runs it gets rich. There's no real competition. You have no privacy. And if you say one thing they don't like they'll shut you up. |

Isn’t this hack in the “Ted Kennedy” seat in the Senate? He sure blusters like old Teddy the Red-Nosed Senator used to do!
This is the democrat business model playing out. In addition to upping his contributions to left-wing non-profit businesses ("advocacy orgs"), Zuckerberg will hire additional armies of democrat lobbyists, consultants, pollsters, etc. to protect Facebook from his democrat attackers. Markey is creating the money-churning attack-defend spin cycle that is a zero-sum economic activity that enriches their fiefdoms & vassals.
Breakout the wooden stocks and gather rotten tomatoes.
Forty years ago. It is incredible that he has actually made it to the Senate. He is really not very bright, yet amazingly he defeated a Kennedy here in Massachusetts.
Wow, he's down one hundred twenty two thousand million. Going to have to tighten the belt a little.

>Seriously. The rats don’t do anything unless it benefits the party and helps them accumulate power. Social media is doing their dirty work for them. Why now? I don’t see the play.<
You are right abpout that.
I guess Suckerberg isn’t radical enough for Markey.
Or the censorship they want.

“”Mark Zuckerberg your time is over” says US Senator Ed Markey “We will act.””

SHAZAM.
Media giants big donors to Rep. Markey"The communications and electronics industries have been Markey’s largest sources of campaign cash, handing him $2.4 million of the $12 million he raised from 1989 to 2012, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan watchdog that has tracked donations during that period.
The list of Markey’s top 20 donors over those years is studded with multinational media conglomerates, including Time Warner, AT&T, News Corp., Comcast, Sprint, Viacom, Walt Disney, General Electric, and the National Cable & Telecommunications Association."
