Just consider the hundreds of millions of dollars completely wasted on government programs intended to give head starts to education, drug rehab programs, welfare, food stamps, public housing, birth control (ha!), job training, you name it to blacks and this is where we still are. Black children thinking that blasting other people with guns is an acceptable way to settle grievances shows that absolutely no progress has been made. Seventy five percent of black children are born out of wedlock, mostly to teen mothers whose own mothers did the same thing before them. So a lot of black kids are raised by children themselves, children unable to impart decent values to them. NO amount of money is going to make up for that.
It’s the opposite. It’s the free handouts and govt programs that create a degraded criminal society. This is purposeful and is the reason the DemonRATs instituted the Great Society. It is all planned and bearing fruit.
The claim that it was done to end poverty is just lying propaganda. It's purpose always was to trade government money for votes to keep the Big Government liberals in power. (So the corruption cartel could siphon off money through government policies and big government projects.)
It kept Democrats in power, and as an unintended consequence, it vastly increased crime in the United States. (Fatherless children grow up to be feral criminals.)
