I don’t remember being traumatized at all while she was away.

It’s been 61 since I released a record and boy has it been traumatic!

Hair down - check.
Set is a fixer upper - check.
Tempo set - check.
Pain level set - check.
Slimmer than the last song - check.

Typical Adele. It will be a huge hit!

"In her bumper year of 2015, when she released an album and then did a 107-date world tour, she paid as much in taxes — $5.2 million — as Facebook. But Adele hasn't always been happy to pay her taxes, once complaining to Q Magazine: “I'm mortified to have to pay 50 percent"

Has she got her "mind right" since then?

I assume she has...or the ruling authority(wealthy oligarch/hypocrites) would have ostracized her into oblivion.

I do not understand the appeal of this song, or her.

Adele is very fortunate in many ways.
She is fully talented, a good performer who seems to like the hard work of touring, plus there aren’t many other young women singing in the style she has chosen.
The torch songs, the love ballads, the full voiced, full bosomed lounge singer, well dressed in satin gowns.
Most of her hits are originals, not covers.
She doesn’t need to do covers right now.

Adele saves her best Blue Language for her private life and Facebook accounts, not for the lyrics of her songs.
She is friends with the notorious Jennifer Lawrence.
One can imagine the discussions.

I kind of feel bad for the husband. His life put on display in an album where adele is the victim

Could turn out like angelina jolie and turns the kid against the dad...or the complete opposite

I think I must be the only person who finds this song just okay. I didn’t feel sad or feel like crying. I don’t get all the over the top hype for this particular song.

I don’t either. I turned it off about 3/4 of the way through.

I’m stuck in the 70’s and 80’s music

If almost two years of COVID have taught me anything, it is how suggestible and susceptible people are to PR, propaganda and group think.

About the only music I dig that's not 70s/80s is the Tedeschi-Trucks band. However, Derek Trucks played with the Allman Brothers, so he's not that far away.

His wife, Susan Tedeschi, is one of the most dynamic singers I've ever heard. I first saw them at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival in Dallas two years ago...awesome.

O/T, but I was going to buy tickets to the Doobie Brothers next week, but the Toyota Music Factory requires proof of vax, or a negative test.

I used the money I saved on not buying a ticket, to purchase a couple of Let's Go Brandon! t-shirts...lol.

Adele has gone black, she ain't going back...lol.

I’m very tired of “music” which is virtually a Capella. Adele’s song has a boring piano background. Not much more. She’s got a big voice and she is trained to “emote”. That’s it.

Whitney Houston, I think, started this trend decades ago. Katy Perry, Pink, Adele, a whole lot more. Women with big voices, and nothing of musical interest happening in the background. Not, strictly speaking, a Capella. But basically it is. No one listens for the band. It’s all about the emotional woman at center stage. So boring.

Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin and Linda Ronstadt singing with high emotion and their bands are much more interesting. I listen to their songs over and over. I’m sure I will never bother to listen to “Easy On Me” again.

I'm not a Stevie Nicks fan, but she wins the Grand Prize.
