I found the second video an enjoyable discussion of the weaponization of 'trust the science'. Apparently it was so good, it was purged from Ted Talks and alternate links are provided below.
Your government, their scientific advisors and corporate media have lied to you. Their mantra since the start of the “pandemic” has been “trust the science.” It has become a term, widely used, as a politically correct answer to all questions we are not comfortable delving into. But it is disingenuous. Why? What does “trust the science” actually mean?
Trust: to believe something is true although you have no proof.
Science: a systematic study of the world through observation and experiment.
Trust science: blindly believe in the study of the world through observation and experiment. Which makes sense.
However, the phrase “trust the science” means something different. In the video below Infinity explains what this phrase means and why it’s deceitful.

Rupert Sheldrake, a British biologist and author, gave a talk entitled The Science Delusion at TEDx Whitechapel in 2013. Sheldrake coined the concept of morphogenetic resonance or morphic resonance. Morphic resonance is a process whereby self-organising systems inherit a memory from previous similar systems.
Sheldrake begins his TEDx talk: “The sciences are now wholly-owned subsidiaries of the materialist world view. I think, as we break out of it the sciences will be regenerated.”

“The science is settled” is always a lie. Science is never “settled.”
No, because science never explained itself where the anti-vax virologists have shown how awful the stuff is and what it does to your body.
Science is a method which often yields wrong results but with repeated controlled tests progresses closer to the truth as long as it is used correctly. It is not some all-seeing deity.
They only pursue what they want to pursue. Everything else is discarded with based on one or a couple slipshod studies or ignored.
Remember, “Trust The Science” preaching usually comes from people who think there are 49+ different sexes.
Well generally, when the government gets involved the first part of the scientific method, observation, gets defenestrated.
The corporate "scientists" are all-seeing when it comes to finding the grant money or cashing in by selling their degrees to The Narrative...

Science is neither false nor truthful, it is always under examination, always.

In typical leftist fashion, they use words to deceive. They say to trust science, which has a perception of being apolitical and truthful. But what they really mean is trust the scientist. They can be highly political and untruthful.

The truths today will not be the truths tomorrow.
You can be asymptomatic with a bug or bacteria and get others sick. Typhoid Mary is a notorious historic example.
But I don’t trust anything Fauci says right now!
Technically, the mantra has been “follow the science”, which is a meaningful distinction from trust the science if words mean anything. Of course the intent is that following a certain science (that of the WHO/CDC/fed gov) means to trust in it.
Yes you can, but you are not going to have thousands let alone millions that are asymptomatic spreaders. Now you do that with the vaxxed though. It is by design that they take away the symptoms, but leave the asymptomatic spread.
