I want to state for the record: I did NOT handle the gun on the “Rust” movie set.

This is the same Alec Baldwin who stood in front of the cameras a couple of days ago and emphatically told us he is not allowed to discuss the case.

Did Eric Esparza tweet Alec to ask him how it felt to wrongfully kill a person?

The post came from Terese Davis, who appears to have been a part of the costume department. The post came from Terese Davis, who appears to have just received a large deposit in her bank account.

she'll fight for better gun safety and no longer using live guns on-set,Here it comes. Even movie prop guns kill people, ban all guns.

Someone who gets shot and dies on set would qualify as the set
being unsafe.

Yeah. Before the spinmeisters are finished they’ll be bleating that the thing was all the fault of the victims for being in the way.
To: conservative98
So, Baldwin is claiming that the set was not unsafe and chaotic? Then that must mean that he was the one who was careless and at fault.

"The camera crew HAD hotels. They just didn't feel they they were fancy enough," Davis claimed.
Whoa, wait a minute Them Davis. No need for yelling. So, you're telling me that they had hotels but they thought them not fancy enough?
hmmm Next you'll be telling me that they're also uneducated, southern and probably white hicks?
Gotcha.
Someone tell Alec he needs to spend his cya fund with someone else.

All that has nothing to do with Baldwin unsafely practicing “fanning” a single action revolver.

Red herring. The hotel issue was not the camera crew, but for the local labor that was hired to do most of the on set work. Most of them live in Albuquerque, a two hour drive from Santa Fe. They wanted Santa Fe hotels but Barwin and his fellow producers not only said no, but printed tee shirts making fun of them. It was a freaking circus.
I have been to Santa Fe many times. There are uber fancy hotels but also many reasonably priced. Santa Fe also allows AirBnB, which can be a very nice but affordable option for long term stays.
Gee, I wonder where Barwin was staying???

His lawyer must be face-palming. He’s facing possible legal action based on this incident and he’s bloviating all over social media about it? If he was my client I would tell him to STFU or be fired.
To: conservative98
If Alec Baldwin had a competent attorney representing him in this matter, I would think that the first words from that attorney would be, SHUT UP! AND STAY THAT WAY!!

He needs to shut it. Does he not realize he may face criminal charges of his own?

He’s thinking about his pocket book
He’s the executive producer. He’s ultimately responsible for safety
