McAuliffe concedes, congratulates Youngkin after governor election upset
Democratic Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe conceded the race to Republican Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin on Wednesday morning, after news organizations called the result overnight.
“While last night we came up short, I am proud that we spent this campaign fighting for the values we so deeply believe in,” McAuliffe said
I'm reminded of the nitwits all over FR who spent most of November and December 2016 insisting that Hillary Clinton was going to steal electoral votes from Trump in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.

I am confused how Youngkin only won by a million because after going through the results of EVERY county in my state, Youngkin beat the liberal by as much as 3x the votes often enough that it was pleasantly shocking.
I knew it was over when the likes of CNN, ABC, MSNBC called it for Youngkin.
For Youngkin to win by 2%, that means the real margin of victory was nearly 10%.
Those "values" - warped values - are exactly why you lost, McAuliffe.
McAwful has conceded, they don’t have the votes.
Not even fake ones.
McAuliffe wasn’t the hill to die on for them.
And those "values" are shared by nearly all of the DEM party. Their hatred of parents needs to be on display constantly as we head into the 2022 midterms.
However, it looks like a real possibility in N.J.
