You think this is new? Go read Op-eds from 100 years ago. The fight against the socialist left started long before Rush and it will NEVER end. As long as people want to vote themselves goodies and ‘security’ from the public piggy bank the left will always be with us.
What new thing is it time for?
Yeah we need new tactics, and new personalities who know how to articulate the truth. That isn’t anything new.
You think Rush failed? We would be in FAR worse shape had he never done his thing. An entire generation knows what conservatism is thanks to him.

It’s up to us. It’s ALWAYS been up to us. Reagan did what he could, Rush educated us. Before I started listening to Rush, I didn’t know liberal from conservative from a hole in the ground.

I’ll never forget the first day Rush came on the radio in the NY/NJ area. I had been listening to another on that station and one day Rush took over. One of the first things he said was that he did not have guests. I remember looking right at the radio and saying”No Guests? How are you going to do that buddy?” Well-— it sure didn’t take long to realize that Rush didn’t NEED guests. He just had to be himself. And there was no one like him. Still isn’t .

Limbaugh let people know that they weren't alone in their thinking, in their beliefs.
They kept us from being astroturfed by the LAAP-dog media. They got us to believe that the gas light was really dimming.
