I rediscovered Glen about 6 months ago. YouTube has great videos of his music and interviews. There are some great audio recordings of Glen online and I strongly suggest hooking up stereo equipment to listen.

Glen’s guitar solo at the end of this video is just pure Glen! This is an example of Glen’s great talent which amazes other highly acclaimed musicians.

Many people do not know that Glen’s career started with the Wrecking Crew, moved to The Beach Boys and on and on. Glen is credited with playing on about 300 top songs in the 1960’s and 1970’s. It is almost impossible to name a music act from those years that Glen somehow did not play with. From Frank Sinatra to Cher and everything in between.

I have had Wichita Lineman stuck in my head for months, walking around singing it much to my wife’s displeasure 😅.

If you love music, watch the videos, watch his interviews, watch what other musicians say about Glen, watch Alice Cooper talk about his best friend! And watch the Wrecking Crew document. You will not be disappointed!

A group of session musicians, including an uncredited Glen Campbell, waxed this tune under the name Saggitarius. It only reached #67 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, but in my opinion, it's one of the best songs of the late sixties.

My World Fell Down--Sagittarius (1967)
