I would not agree, sorry. It is indeed mainly used as an anti-parasite medicine and is labeled as such.
And yes, it has some intriguing properties, as antiviral, quite likely anticancer, cf.

And -- as a logical guess -- perhaps a suppressant for vaccine-induced cancers.
But for now it is still anti-parasitic. Just like doxycycline is an antibiotic despite being quite powerful against some non-bacterial illnesses.
Maybe so, but stating that every time ivermectin is in a story is misleading, as if that is its only purpose and cannot possibly work against COVID.
Then I guess you need to be consistent and say that anyone who takes warfarin/Coumadin as a blood thinner for heart issues takes rat poison.warfarin originally started as a rat poison before it revolutionized cardiac care. So if you want to call ivermectin a dewormer call warfarin a rat poison
Wrong. I saw it first hand with my 95 year old father, in December 2020.
It works. Period.
The rest is noise.
He was prescribed 3mg Ivermectin 4-X per day for 3 days.
On fourth day, Zero symptoms.
He had lots of Co-Morbidities. And he beat Covid.
