With COVID-19 cases once again soaring in New Jersey, Gov. Phil Murphy said the state could soon face new restrictions in response to a deadly pandemic that is once more growing.
“My fear is we’re going to be getting back to capacity limits at some point,” Murphy said during an unrelated press event at Port Newark on Friday, where he warned “this thing is still with us and sadly, the numbers are still going up.”

I’ve read the vaccines will also protect against Omicron.
I suspect delta is from illegal aliens and omicron is from returning tourists.
The article states that the vaccinated are amongst those getting covid...in much higher percentages. Then Murphy states “the importance of being vaccinated”.
He’s preparing for a vaccine mandate and I work in NJ but live in PA. Also, we had Covid and there’s no reason to get vaccinated. I will not comply..
The fear porn politicians and media will count every single case and every single death. Heck, the vaccine propaganda has crossed the line with some of these commercials. I’m beyond fed up with this BS.

The number of years of your life are going up. The number of days in the year are rising. The number of dead in any year go “up” from the first to the last day. Please note that the above “official” sourced numbers are now tallied over almost TWO years.

Ann is right. There was fraud, the other guy clearly won, but folded like a cheap suit & neither the state or national GOP did a damn thing about it.

Even New Jersey voters will protest to any new coronavirus restrictions. The most that the Governor Murphy can do right now is statewide mask mandate. Doubt he can anything more than that without significant pushback/noncompliance.
I believe the 2020 Election was stolen, but I don’t believe NJ Governor’s race was stolen. The women in NJ are very liberal.
When an ICU operates normally at 95% capacity, then getting to 100% doesn’t take much. You’re being lied to daily.
Read today that Omicron infections will double everyday here in the US. Assuming we already have 10 cases in the US and the vaccine is useless against this variant, simple math show our we will have 335,544,320 cases by January 12, 2022. The world infections will be 5,368,709,120 by January 16,2022. Thanks to airline travel, The holidays, and superspreader sports events, this could be a real possibility.
