We have been blessed by many such brave men. They have made the U.S.A. what it has been.

It made me tear up watching it too. Just hearing them read that, it was so...so from another age.

Now, there are people who would vilify them for reading it. Shameful.

Well, I sure am glad I lived in a time where someone could do something like that.

Genesis never, ever sounded so beautiful and solemn to me. Never. Still give me goosebumps.

I don't know if you have seen it, but the HBO video series "From The Earth to The Moon" has an episode about Apollo 8, and it is so beautifully done, none of the "woke" crap in it, even though Tom Hanks produced it. For some reason, they don't show the Genesis reading anywhere, but this was the lead up to it:
