I’m thinking it must have been armor plated.

I just watched “All is Lost” again the other night.
Getting rammed and sinking really sucks.

Clearly he skimped on hiring a high quality crew. Maybe he got some woke cast-off from the US Navy to run his yacht for him.
To: dynachrome
Now he can claim that he lost his guns in a ‘boating accident’.

I’d imagine a ship is responsible for what is in front of it.
The US Navy had some fatal collisions a few years ago, all could be traced to bad training and equipment. You’d think Navy sailors and officers would be experts at that kind of thing.

Yeah. All right, you primitive screwheads, listen up. See this? This... is my BOOMSHIP! It’s a 206’-8” megayacht that accommodates 12 with a crew of 13. It’s Rossinavi’s top-of-the-line. You can’t find this in the local boatyard. That’s right, this sweet baby was made in Viareggio, Italy. Retails for about $50 million. It’s got an aluminum hull, six cabins, and a top speed of 24 knots. That’s right. Shop Smart. Shop Rossinavi. YA GOT THAT!?”

He hired to ex-USN female sailors who were so busy fighting over the attentions of the helmsman that they didn’t bother to look out the window.
